So who is this for?
The SCI-COM-E meeting is intended for professionals in science communication who want to get new insights, meet fascinating people and expand their network.
In addition we invite all student participants from the European Summer School on Science Communication to join the SCI-COM-E meeting.
Keynote
We proudly present the keynote speaker for the SCI-COM-E meeting 2026: Jan Wörner, former long-time Director General of the European Space Agency – ESA and new Director at our host institute FIAS – Frankfurt Institute for Advenced Studies.

REGISTRATION
The registration will officially open on Star Wars Day, May 4, 2026. You may register via e-mail. Please send an e-mail with your name, institution and billing address to or just use the form below.
The early (science) bird conference fee is 275€. This is valid until July 31, 2026 and the fee after that date is 325€. We will send an invoice with your given details and once paid you are registered for the whole event.
Program
The SCI-COM-E meeting is a community-driven event. You can (and should!) contribute to the program!
We try to accommodate as many contributions as we can, so please send us a short abstract (max 200 words) by e-mail.
Venue
There are plenty of hotels in Frankfurt and it is easily reachable by train, car or plane. If you need any assistance, please just let us know.
